One at a Time…Right Now

While running this morning, it dawned on me how much time I waste discouraged about yesterdays and worried about tomorrows. Am I the only one who does this? I think we all do this at times. Anyway, these thoughts popped into my head, and I’m willing to share them in the hopes that this is something that you need today, too.

Right Now…

I multitask—doing several things poorly—right now.

I make myself ADHD trying to do it all right now.

I become depressed craving results right now.

I get anxious anticipating tomorrow’s potential failures right now.

I grow weary, unable to get what I want right now.

And my life slips by…one moment at a time…right now.

Today, I Will Live

mindfulness

One at a Time!

An idea is hatched one thought at a time.

A song is created one note at a time.

A book is written one word at a time.

A marathon is run one step at a time.

A war is won one battle at a time.

A life is lived one moment at a time.

I will be in this moment right now.

I will invest in every moment, like this moment right now.

I will not wish a single moment away right now.

I will be mindful that this moment is fleeting

along with every other moment…

Today I will savor one moment at a time starting right now.
